Rain and school talks

Not everyone was treated to the rain overnight and this morning but for those who did, there were some impressive totals.  The highest ones came from Ellsworth and Saline County, where 1-2 inches of rain was quite common.  Over Sedgwick County, most reports were 0.20" or less.

After the rain cleared out, I made a visit to Isely Traditional Magnet Elementary School.  I talked to the Second Graders there and had a wonderful time!  They impressed with me their knowledge about clouds, tornadoes and earthquakes.  They even had a green screen in one of their classrooms!

Thanks to my special weather volunteer Joe who took the pictures you see here.
