Collecting dust

How is Fall treating you thus far?  Hopefully better than last Friday!  Kansas skipped Autumn for one day as Mother Nature turned parts of the state into a Winter wonderland.  It never ceases to amaze me how fast the weather can change and then change back again.  Before last Friday, it had been since 1997 since Wichita reported snow during the month of October.

The roller coaster ride is expected to continue over the next several days.  Today's 60s and 70s are gone by Thursday with highs only in the 50s.  It will be milder again Friday-Monday but it appears rain and storms Monday night will be followed by cooler temperatures into next Tuesday.  While our Storm Team 12 forecast doesn't go out to Halloween (yet), what I've looked at so far today points to chilly weather on Halloween.  Scary stuff indeed!
