An incredible month!

After hurting for rain for the first 4.5 months of the year, Mother Nature's sprinkler system has seemingly been stuck on high since then.  If your yard is like mine, it's still pretty soggy and I hope I'll be able to mow it before the 4th!

Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport recorded 10.46" for the month of June, tied for the third wettest June on record.  Meanwhile here at the station we had (at least) 7.40" (up until 11:33 p.m. Monday the 30th).  As you know, rainfall totals of course can vary a bit during the storm season.  Here's a link to the June rainfall map from the NWS Wichita, with a comparison to June 2013 thrown in for good measure.
