Sky treats the next few days

ISS flyover information courtesy and ©2014

Sky lovers: you are in for a treat the next few evenings!  The International Space Station will make several flyovers of Kansas.  The information you see above is for Wichita.  To enter in your location, simply go to the Flyover page and enter in your zip code.

You can also see Mars and Saturn in the southwest sky this evening (setting soon...better hurry!)  Of particular interest is Venus and Jupiter rising in the eastern sky tomorrow morning prior to 6 a.m.  The Moon will have risen prior to the two planets and by Saturday morning, all three will be close by.  Here's what it will look like:

Enjoy the show!

Great site Sir Rodney! Thanks for the information. Sky watchers like myself can't get enough of the cosmos.
